The Sacred Journey

The Sacred Journey was a re-envisioning of The Journey Project as Youtopia’s Temple, with updated lighting symbolizing the evolution of the universe through five transformative sections, from the fiery chaos of the Big Bang through the birth of humanity to spiritual enlightenment.

The installation features a central spire connected to a coiled torus representing the journey’s stages, with fabric strips bearing visitors’ hopes and dreams tied to the structure like prayer flags.

At sunset, the space became a sanctuary for meditation, enhanced by peaceful music from a live DJ, inviting introspection and connection.

Lead artist Dan Reeves collaborated with shrouding artist Hannah Mitchell to create this piece; Diane was Software Lead and Lighting Artist.
